Princess of the Steppe

In the years of Mongol rule, a prince of Rus' bargained his firstborn, Marya, to a forbidden god for a land no enemy could find. Thirty years on, all three of his daughters have been scattered to the wind, and his only son, Ivan, rules over a slowly dying realm. When Ivan crosses paths with a warlord's daughter, he sees a chance to save his home, but she brings a doom of her own making. Can love prevail over ambition? Vengeance? Death itself?
